The Role

We’re looking for a forward‑thinking Head of Commercial to play a key role in shaping and delivering VOW’s commercial strategy. Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, you’ll help drive profitable growth across the business, leading initiatives that optimise sales, margin, pricing, and performance.

You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations within our Commercial function — including the Commercial Analytics and Pricing Administration teams — ensuring the team is empowered, supported and operating at its best.

This is a highly influential role, ideal for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical capability, and the ability to collaborate across departments and senior stakeholders.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Group Commercial Director and VOW Managing Director in shaping the commercial strategy to drive sales and margin growth.
  • Leading and managing the Commercial Analytics and Pricing Administration teams, ensuring strong focus, motivation, and performance.
  • Acting as business lead for all scheduled pricing review projects, including quarterly contract updates, non‑contract pricing, exchange rate reviews, and customer contract reviews.
  • Owning all ad‑hoc pricing and margin improvement projects from scoping through to implementation and post‑delivery reporting.
  • Producing detailed sales and margin performance reports for the VOW Board.
  • Providing commercial insight and data support to VOW and EVO Group Finance teams for monthly P&L reporting.
  • Championing the ongoing development of internal reporting tools such as PowerBI.
  • Identifying and delivering process improvements within the Commercial function.
  • Building strong cross‑functional relationships across VOW and the wider EVO Group.
  • Establishing and managing long‑term relationships with key external partners.
  • Leading, developing, and supporting the VOW Commercial team to enhance capability and deliver exceptional results.

About You

Essential experience & skills:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a senior or management role within Commercial, Finance, or Sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience delivering successful sales and margin growth initiatives.
  • A deep understanding of the complete sales cycle, including Marketing, Pricing, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Finance, and Operations.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse, partly remote team.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with expert-level Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI Desktop (or similar data analysis tools).
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
